Select by application scenarios: For takeaway marinated food, heavy oily dishes and long-distance delivery packaging, choose PLA laminated items with strong oil & water resistance to avoid leakage and softening. For short-time dine-in or dry food packaging, unlaminated molded pulp tableware is available to cut purchasing cost.
Check temperature resistance: PLA laminated products work within -20℃ ~ 120℃, safe for hot meals and freezer storage. They are NOT suitable for high-temperature ovens. Confirm microwave requirements before placing orders.
Verify environmental certifications: For exports to Europe and America, confirm whether the laminated film complies with EN13432 and BPI compostable standards. Some regions restrict non-compostable lamination, so match the regulations of target markets.
Inspect lamination quality: Pick products with strong film adhesion to prevent peeling under high temperature or oily conditions. The film should be evenly coated without bubbles or edge lifting to guarantee food contact safety.
Match printing demands: Laminated surface offers better color performance. If custom brand LOGO printing is required, laminated pulp containers are recommended. Unlaminated natural pulp products are cost-effective if no printing is needed.
Size & structure selection: Compartment lunch boxes are ideal for bento meals, while bowls and plates fit salads and cooked food. Stacking performance should be checked to reduce breakage during long transportation.

Raw material pulping: Bagasse / bamboo fiber / waste paper is crushed and mixed with water, screened and purified to prepare pulp slurry.
Vacuum forming: Pulp fiber is adsorbed on mold by vacuum to form wet blank.
Hot pressing & drying: High temperature & pressure to dewater and harden into dry molded pulp blank.
Trimming: Cut excess edges, remove defective blanks.
Dust removal: Static & air blowing cleaning to eliminate surface dust.
Vacuum thermal lamination (core): PLA / PE film is heated and vacuum sucked tightly onto pulp surface, water & oil resistant layer formed.
Cooling: Laminated product cooled for film solidification.
Secondary trimming: Trim excess film edge.
Quality inspection: Check bubble, delamination, pinhole, dimension, water & oil resistance.
Sterilization (food grade tableware).
Packing & warehouse storage.

Sorting & counting: Count qualified products and separate different sizes.
Inner bag packing: Sealed with food-grade PE bag, dustproof and moisture-proof. Desiccant added for high humidity shipment.
Carton packing: 5-layer corrugated export cartons, paper corner protector for anti-pressure.
Marking: Shipping mark including item, quantity, gross/net weight, batch number.
Palletizing & stretch wrapping: Goods stacked on pallets and fully wrapped by stretch film. Wooden pallets with IPPC stamp for export.
Key Notes:
Keep dry during transit. Moisture will cause film delamination and bubbles.
Limit stacking height to avoid deformation and scratch on laminated surface.
PLA laminated items require proper ventilation in container.
